Quick question for all people running Andy Forest 20g's
In the process of bolting an Andy Forest 20g on my new 2.5 build.
I have used the original VF series oil feed pipe and banjo bolt and it seem's to fit perfectly.
I've since3 spoke to a friend and he tell's me i need to use a different type of banjo bolt from the VF series turbo's and may possibly need a high flow oil feed pipe (that apparently comes with these turbo's when they are new)
Any idea's of what a may or may not need ? As i say it look's to be o.k at the moment. I just want to get it right before i drop the engine back in the car as it will be a real bitch to change it afterwards.
Thank's in advance
Liam

The hole in the side of the Banjo bolt is larger for the TD series (Thrust bearing) than the VF22/24/28/29/30 series (Roller bearing) for the reason stated above.
Running the Banjo bolt as you are means the Thrust bearing is not getting enough oil (shaft floats on a film of oil between the bearing and the shaft, etc) so it'll die sooner rather than later.
Replacement TD04/05 Banjo bolt is about 10 pounds or so from Subaru...

Liam, just check what bolt you have already.
I found my old 03 WRX was fitted from the factory with a 1.5mm feed banjo at the turbo
Previous TD04 cars had the larger size (5mm?).
I've just swapped my VF43 with a 20g while still using the OEM 1.5mm feed - Zen seemed to be OK with this.

Cheers Butty i've been told to drill out my old one's if they are too small won't get a chance to look for a couple of days.
If they are in fact to small what size do i drill them out to ?

Yeah cheers mate i tried Andy Forest this morning but just got his answerphone. I've been told it's o.k to run them either way but it'll be nice to have it right.
