I have a Ractech T14 Oil Temperature gauge and i currently have the sender plugged into the sump. Made a fitting to go into the sump plug.

But i cant get the probe in deep enough using this method (temp never goes above 30-40 celcius). Does anyone know what adaptors etc i will need to fit the probe in place of the bung above cyl. 3?

Or are there any other ways of fitting the probe elsewhere? I think the probe has a 3/8BSP female thread.

Any info would greatly appreciated, Dave

Could fit an M?? to 3/8BSP male/male adaptor??

I recently fitted oil pressure and temp gauges in my classic and used this for the temp sensor fitting.

I actually bought a kit with two adaptors.

Just checked that link and it wont work with my probe. The one i have needs a male adaptor for the plug above no.3.

My probe sits in a hole then the 3/8bsp female socket fits onto the male end fitted to the engine.

Anyone have any ideas?

I need something almost identical to the adaptor in the middle picture...
