FTR, I don't think Samco or any other hose company, ever made a v.1/2 pattern intake hose (more's the pity ).

Obviously you could use a regular silicone 90deg with the correct sized diameters and leg lengths but it will obviously lack the port for the OEM recirculating dump valve (not a prob if you get a VTA).

Moreover though, a regular 90deg hose obviously lacks the appropriate oil breather ports too. Damn.

Damm why do i get the feeling that this is going to be a trick part to find

suppose i better start looking for breakers for a 94/95 to get the part!

will the wrx 94/95 fit or will it need to be a sti.

i am guessing that any 94/95 import part will fit

Unhappy 95 sti v2 turbo intake hose has a split i need a new one but am having problems!

Some help plz i have a wrx sti v2 i have noticed a small split in what i think is the turbo intake hose, i want to replace it so i have been looking on ebay and have seen loads of silicon replacements but all of them say 96 ebay Item number: 200261639527

96-99 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX/STI TURBO AIR INTAKE SILICONE on eBay, also Engine Tuning Parts, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 18-Oct-08 21:32:46 BST)

on and as my car is a 95 i am not sure if they will fit!
don't want to buy one if they don't i would consider buying the original part off someone if they have replaced there's, here is the image of the pipe i need.

any advice most appreciated.

Yeah, one from any v.1/2 (Nov 92 - Aug 96) will be the correct one.

I recently replaced my original 15 year old one as the dump valve recirc port take-off had split (common failing as the dv causes it to bend over and gets stressed). I got mine from a breaker on eBay fro £20 delivered.

Check for 92-96 cars being broken on here... Plus eBay, where you'll find loads. Just enter subaru break* and impreza break*' and you 'trawl' in loads of ads lol . Then just fire off loads of eBay 'Ask the Seller' messages by keep on cutting and pasting your original messge (to save time), lol

it must be in the air because i just replaced mine tonight also due to the standard one splitting i priced one from subaru and after i picked my self up off the floor i decided to custom make one here it is, i got it from ebay Silicon Hose 90 degree Reducer 3"-2.5"/76mm-63mm Blue on eBay, also Engine Tuning Parts, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 25-Oct-08 20:04:00 BST)
please measure your turbo neck and air pipe silencer to be sure of the size they do differ!
I have an fmic so its got a hks ssqv so i only had to drill 2 holes for the breather pipes they are a mega tight fit also sealed with sealer to be over sure its air tight her is some pics sorry about quallity its dark and its my camera phone

That's brill mate - I might do that too!

I take it nothing stops me from drilling a hole to accept the recirc pipe of the OEM dv too?

BTW, that's MRT's metal resonator delete pipe between the MAF hose and the intake hose isn't it?

after marking the holes to be drilled with a marker pen i took it off to drill starting with a 10mm then going up to a 12mm this made it a very tight fit but i did use some wurth bond and seal which is the same as sikaflex the stuff you can bond spoilers on with in a body shop, silicon may do but this stuff dries a bit harder with more grip and strength hope this helps most good motor factors will sell it,

thanks to all who liked this mod
