What did they say ?

P.S. A good set of rollers may give a realistic reading, some don't and are way over !

Turbo will put out 400 bhp (I've done 3 now and all put out 396-402 bhp) on road fuel but that's been @ 1.65 bar and with the Scottish magician (AndyF) Mapping them..

It is easily possible but you need to remember that not all dyno's put out the same figure for the same car. go to a Dastek one and you'll get one figure, Dyno Dynamics will give another, and so on.................

Don't get to het up about the power figure, if it runs well and feels fast......ENJOY IT!

also ask if you get the AFR readings and egt reading that some can supply for you. This can tell you if the fuelling is rightfor your setup!

At least she should last at that level, mine was making 1.6 bar on it's VF35 !

Are you still using a std IC ? Or a BIG fmic ?

DunxC

P.S. Enjoy, "pub" figures aren't everything, or go for methanol at 10% plus a map tweak....

Mate, I feel for you. I am having the same drama. spent money on mods and not coming up with the goods. I got 375bhp 335 torque. And it is spooling really late and not very responsive. It goes well above 4700rpm but before it is not very good.

Thinking of going the twinscroll route now for 380/380. Wish i didnt get into this tuning malarkey. cant let it go now until the car goes how I envisaged.

My car made 369bhp on the rollers recently......and was hoping for nearer 400hp.......but the car runs a treat and manages 11 sec quarters so i am more than happy....

A friend of mine who works for a Jaguar race team and specializes in engine builds has advised me that the only way to measure the power accurately is with an engine dyno.......and all RR will give different outputs.

I was going to try an MD321H to sort it but i think I will go twin scroll. Happy with the top end power or should I say the way it goes at top end. but it is just the low down responsiveness, could be something to do with the FMIC ? What FMIC are you running mate
