Unhappy AVC-r boost sensor best location new age

Hey all,

Anyone fitted the AVC-r unit and found the perfect setup? I'm currently getting over boost since a few mods, wonder if best location for boost pressure sensor of AVC-r should be moved.

Its currently located with a T on the 6mm pipe that comes from the front of the manifold, just above the alternator, this T'd pipe then splits into two which then runs boost gauges and the other goes directly to the filter/restrictor/boost sensor of AVC-r. Does anyone run the sensor from the dump valve pipe instead? I know this will only read positive boost....that a problem?
