Default STI Type r with no dccd

Hi people,

I might be looking at a type r which has had the gear box changed so theres no dccd, im just wondering will this cause any problems and will the car be in 50/50 split torque?

I personally hate the manual DCCD in the type R and found it a hindrance so I removed it and fitted a saloon center diff, the car was much easier to live with every day and handled the extra power I put through it much better and safer.

If I got myself another type R that would be my first mod!

As long as the relavent rear diff was fitted to the car at the same time as the gearbox then it will be fine, it will probably have the more usual viscous center diff which can/will be more forgiving than a DCCD set to open if you have never drove a type r.
