This may seem like a daft question but should there be 2 cooling fans ?
Just noticed that my UK97MY only has 1 fan but it seems to have fixings for a 2nd.

Cheers
Russ

Wink

fits in with mine.... two fans and air con...

I presume the extra load of the air con might heat the engine more so need the extra fan to keep things cool... just probably for worst case sinerio of air con and hard drive etc... I guess?

Hi folks,
I suspect the second fan is to supply air-flow over the air-con condenser . They are probably switched on whenever the magnetic clutch drive on the air-con pump kicks in. Don't know for sure , but that's how I would design it. No doubt someone will know the real answer !

Regards,
John
