Default hesitation problem

Hi, I have a v4 type r and have had a hesitation problem for a while now between 2000 and 3500 rpm fom cold and can still feel it when warm. Have fitted a maf sensor and 2 new 02 sensors ( bosch) but still the same, Idle can be miss a beat every now and then when hot or cold. Have carried out a diagnostic check with the plugs under the dash from warm and cold. When cold brings up 02 sensor till it starts to warm up then clears, When carrying out the diagnostics from warm no faults are present. Have replaced plugs several times but no better. The only mods carried out are a decat system and a green panel filter which has made the fault more noticeable. Have driven the car with the 02 sensor disconnected but still the same, im thinking possible coil pack and leads. Are there anymore tests i can carry out.

Cheers for any help, James

You could pop the bonnet tonight when it's dark and look closely at the leads. Check to make sure they are not shorting on to any metal work (don't touch them though ). In colder damp air it's easier for the spark to short out. You might be lucky and see something but if not, unlike most things, it's free! Good luck.

i had the same prob with mine i had a crack in the map sensor pipe because it had gone hard as it runs across the top of the engine under the inlet. dont no if its your prob but you could run a pipe from the sensor to the inlet just to see if its that.

Just been out Cant see any signs of the coil or leads shorting to earth. I did mean to say earlier that ive checked the feeds to the 02 sensor got 12v, got a good earth with ignition off but with ignition on i get over 200k ohms is that normal.
cheers

I forgot to mention when first pulling away from cold when left overnight or after work it is very flat, no power then it picks up and all is ok over than the hesitation. Could it be the coolant temp sensor
Cheers

i had been having a similar problem! had a look about and found a small pipe that had disconnected from air box (standard) it ran to what i think is the boost solenoid.(forgive me i am a newbie on scoobys) it was the pipe coming from the bottom of the solenoid, to the bottom of airbox i only noticed when i completely removed the box pushed it back onto the underside of air box and problem solved!
i hope you find your solution!!
