oil cooler??
Do you need a aftermarket oil cooler for a scoob??
Will the oil overheat on a track day with the standard modine?
currently my scoob is fairly standard but i hope to get it to around 350-400bhp over time.

personaly for the cost i'd get one if your gonna tune it at all, they make a huge difference, i got one fitted when oil temps on mne got high one summer.
used to see temps of 110+ when pushed, with cooler i see under 90 all the time

I would I've just fooked my bottom end on mine due to probably not having a oil cooler and modified oil pump, mine is a standard engine and was on a track. So yes I would get one fitted now.

Good insurance, but does depend on how hardcore you are, the WYIOC go to Blyton, and I usually stick to 10-15 minute sessions, and my oil temp. has never gone above 100 degrees (95 on the motorway).
If you are going to be out for 1/2 an hour or more, then it's essential IMHO.

An Oil cooler is a good idea if you need it - get an oil temperature gauge first to see whether you have a problem to solve. (you probably have but you still need to know whether you have solved it afterwards)
