Default Sti top mount cooler!

hey guys

got a 2003 subaru wrx, with the prodrive pack on it,

now would a STi TMIC fit alrite? from the same sort of age? and would see benefits compared to the standard WRX one? id imagen it will, but just want to confirm!

It fits a treat, the brackets shold already be there ready and waiting to accept it. You will need the correct undertray between the scoop and TMIC though, most people (like I did last month) will sell them together.

don't waste your money on sti intercooler,there is no power increase.

Power might increase by a couple of HP because of reduced pressure drop across the intercooler but the air will be cooler (if moving) so reduces chance of det and reduces power drop at higher ambient temps.

You would have to re-map to take any advantage (more fuel, boost and ignition advance) LOL

all fitted well and good MT, car now mapped to 340bhp!!

good to add into the mix with other mods but wont make a huge difference on its own
