Default 2.5 classic conversion question????

in middle of doing a 2.5 build for my classic, got to the stage of water pump, im sure ive heard that everything changes over from the ej20, but when ive gone to order one there saying there different? which one do i buy as the ej20 pump is approx £50 and the 2.5 £100

Iv had a 2.5 done to mate and my old pump went on fine

really?? well im getting a new one wotever as cant see point of using old one but didnt wanna buy a EJ20 pump if the 2.5 is better or revised or something, but its twice the bloomin price!

The old one will be fine its a very very simple device!!
Unecassary expenditure on a new one IMHO.

The EJ20 one defintely fits too.

well at 50 quid it will get a new one, EVERYthing else has been replaced right down to O-rings so would be silly not to

I don't know what you're being offered, but the standard EJ20 water pump has a pt.no 21111AA026, and a Subaru retail of £85.34 + vat.

What are you being offered for £50.00 ? is it a pattern part ? and is the £100.00 OEM ?

both pattern parts, was just looking into it to get an idea of cost

I fitted the adl blueprint waterpump to mine,that was about £50 and it was the ej20 pump
