Most definately a decent big brake kit..
My AP's felt like they added another 50hp, when in reality they just allowed me to REALLY use the 340odd I was already running..
Suspension mods too, at the very least a rear ARB and DL's (possible PD/Eibach springs too) then think about any extra umphhhh..
Lol, using oem 4 pots on a 400 newage would be very 'interesting'..

i have had the car for 4 years now.. and looking at spending 7k/8k on it in the 10 months i will be putting a decent big brake kit on it :-) & sorting the suspension out too, will be keeping the car for a very long time (weekend car).
would like to know the cost of a rebuild to take 400bhp.....
+ going to need a bigger turbo...
at the end of the day the car is worth 6k/7K spend 8k = 15k total.
i know that i wont get it back too.. (but the car will be good)
15k will get me a 07 plate golf gti... 3 years later it is worth 8k

- Take £2000 + of that budget for a gearbox for it as the std wont cut it at that level
- The best part of £2000 for big brake kit
- £1500 + for decent suspension
- £1500 for a decent turbo
- £200 remapping change
- £400 injectors
... etc etc...and you still got a WRX that is right at the limit of what it will cope with.
Cut your losses and get an STi or cap power at 350 and save your dosh.

No just sell and chase an STI now, it's a buyers market, yours will be harder to sell the more extreme the mods are.
It's far more difficult to sell a 360 bhp WRX than a 360 bhp STI, 'cos everyone will be expecting itto blow up at any minute.
IMHO

I do see DunxC logic but I would never sell my WRX I have/ I am enjoying the journey so end of the day figures are a bonus but the process and evolution has been worth the extra cash for me any way

best bet pick up the phone and have a word with kev up at the clinic, sure he can put together a spec for you, for 8 k then you might even be able to get a rebuild and gearbox in it.
spendign that amount of cash give you alot of buying power to wangle discount etc at most places.

Bit of a bump back down to earth when a 350bhp EVO 5 leaves you though.
