Default Exhaust Noise???

any one knows why my exhaust sounds like this?
its a ctaback greddy pe2... stock cat and downpipe still in place...
car is a myo6 jdm sti...

sounds like the baffles have gone in the back box

it sounded like this from day one...
any other ideas??
anws how can i change the baffle just to e on the safe side?

u cant change the baffles mate the backbox is fooked or u can pull them out completely but then it will be bloody loud lol

Question

Can't really hear what it is that you think is wrong..!

The car is a JDM, so presumably has equal length headers..? Hence the lack of burble..

i know it has equal headers. im not talking about lack of burble, im talking about the noise it makes( like something metal is moving in the exhaust)...

Ah, sorry mate, my ears must be waxed up as I didn't hear that..!

Usually, the type of sound you're getting can be down to a broken baffle plate, however most exhausts use wadding now, so no plates to break..!

It could be a stone, some little tow-rag may have found it fun to poke a few in there..!

Try and speak to manufacturer to see if they use baffles. Otherwise, take BB off and see if you can shake anything out...

its a greddy/trust exhaust, so unless anyone here can speak japanese im f....d
ill be removing the exhaust in a couple of days since im going to be fitting a downpipe and ill be working under the car anws so i ll see if aything got caught in the bb... the problem is it sounded like this from day one... it was bought new, shipped form japan...
