Unhappy fuel problem, please help :(

hi,

was driving last night and all was fine. after parking up for ten min or so tried starting and it just spluttered and cut out then it would not restart.

called the AA who came and told me fuel pump, one fuel pump later and still not working checked the connection with a multimeter and there is a neg connection but nothing on the positive.

when i run a live from the battery to the positive pole of the fuel pump she will then starts and runs therefore pump is 100%

can anybody help? i am thinking relay or immobiliser fault, only problem is i don’t know where they are.

please can somebody help.....PLEEEEEEEASE

standard 99 turbo UK spec
standard immobiliser

just locations of fuel relay and immobiliser would be a start

if you find the plug then connect the electric light into that plug and turn ignition on. make shore that you connect right wires. If the light turns on then electric sys is ok but fuel pump isn't.
