Default Why spark plugs need to be changed to achieve better torque?

Hi,
I have been told that in order to achieve good power and torque (2.5 WRX) the fuel pump, spark plugs and exhaust need to be changed.
Why are the spark plugs part of the equation?

Cheers

Probably a higher heat rated plug is required for the extra fueling, boost, timing. etc

they have no direct affect on power, however, when you up the boost the spark can either be reduced or blown out by the extra pressure so a better spark will allow it to fire ok, also a strong sdpark helps keep the ignition steady and regular by always happening at the same time
