Hi,

I've just installed a catch can (Hyperflow) onto my 2008 STI. No problems there, but I've also decided to eliminate the PCV valve. I'm wondering if I've got the right valve location as it seems to be different to Imprezas of old..

Here are the pictures of the valve, where I removed it from, and how I've plugged the hoses (with PVC tape / bolts).

That looks more like the valve for the fuel vapour purge solenoid.
The PCV should be on the back of the inlet manifold.

Damn!

Guess that means the car is leaning out slightly every time the ecu opens the valve and the vapours aint going to the intake! Better re-install it, I'll pull the TMIC off and have a proper look under the TB again.
