Hi Guys

Took the motor out for a spin today, all seemed fine untill after about a hours driving, when approaching a junction the revs drop to almost stalling point then hunt up and down untill resting at around 5-600 rpm

I carried on driving untill the CEL light came on and as i decellerated and the revs dropped below 1k the light went off this happened 2 or 3 more times while i poddled home.

The car runs fine, no probs with accellerating etc.

The only other thing i will mention is that i was forced into using normal unleaded with a bottle of octane booster today as the 2 petrol stations on the wonderful isle of wight had no SUL
