Hi guys

I've got a legacy gtb 2l twin turbo, just swapped the engine over and finally got it running and everything seemed well.

Then it started to run on 2 cylinders and a short while after that smoke came up from the n/s of the engine, both coil packs had burnt out.

I then fitted two more and its started to do the same thing, not burnt through yet but getting V hot.. and still only running on 2 cylinders.



Any help would be grand, I thought it might be a poor earth somewhere?

Could be a faulty Igniter causing the problem or if you have just swapped the engine - check for trapped/damaged wires around the engine especially around the Inlet Manifold.
