I'm thinking of removing my current apexi ecu and replacing it with a 7K ecu and getting it remaped

I've got the 7k (which is a 95 5th injector version) ready to plug in and try out, but I'm not sure whether my car has the fifth injector or not, so dont want to plug it in just in case it's not the right one

My car is a 96 sti RA Vltd with the phase 1 engine

can anyone help?

Also is there any limitations in the 7K in comparison to the apexi unit?

im not 100% sure, but i dont think that ecu is mappable, unless things have changed

 

7k is not mappable unless it is chipped, suggest for mild mods a scott t polar performance chip, otherwise the ESL daughterboard which is fully live mapable.
5th injector doesnt work was there for homologicleamathingymajiggy stuff for the wrc, if you have it its right on top of your intake manifold just in front of the throttle body.... but as stated, its just non functional
