Default CEL error code P0068

this code has popped up twice now, it hangs about for a bit then goes away, just popped up again for the 3rd time in 2 months, does any one know what is causing this or how to fix it, im guessing it sumthing to do with the boost, any help would be great.
Cheers

Well the car has some modifications but they have been on a good while and this error never popped up before, the car is a 05 plate WRX with PPP

mods,
High flow panel filter
BOV to atmosphere
The air intake snorkle has been taken out.
Samco inlet pipe to turbo
De resonated mid pipe on exhaust

I so nearly asked if it was PPP car! I've looked at 2 cars with the same symptoms recently.

Overboost CEL limit and Overboost fuel cut are quite close to the boost target on some versions of the WRX PPP mapping, they seem to be OK as long as the car is not further modified, although the 2 cars I looked at were from the same dealer and had quite a small boost control orifice (brass restrictor) fitted.

Do you have a boost gauge fitted?

And what boost does it show?

I would start by cleaning the boost control pipework.
