Hey, only new to this site and hoping to get bita advice from ppl who im sure know a lot more than me!

am on my year out from uni, gathered a few pound and looking to buy my first scooby. Timed it well as notice they seem to be goin for a little less this weather.

Several 03 wrx's have caught my eye, but there up around 85 - 90K miles. Few that i have looked at all have decent service history, but is it not true that these cars need the drives/clutch changed around the 60K mile mark, because most of the 1s ive looked at havent? Also any other problems you guys know of with these models of higher milage?

personally if your looking to buy a newer scooby i'd buy one from a garage and not private.

lets be honest most of these cars will have been thrashed and abused. if you buy one private it will be cheaper but u never know what troubles your buying.

from a garage you might still get troubles but normally u'll get 3 months warrenty

thats just my opinion tho
