i bought 210liters of methanol last year with intention of getting it remap to run on it but when got the car on the rollers he said the bottom end ie big end bearings didn't sound to fresh and it might not be a good idea to push it for sake the of 30 40 hp so we didn't bother.so the methanol has sat out side ever since till last week when i thought it would be a good idea to put 2liters in each full tank to get rid of it. car was running OK till i parked it up come to start it the next day and it let out one the loudest bang iv herd and then wouldn't start.so i removed all the mixed fuel put in new stuff cleaned the plugs but it still won't start it tries to but just wont any ideas lads
