Check the battery has full power first. If it does not then you will hear a clicking sound when you turn the key & the motor will not turn over.

Does the engine turn over but does not fire, if yes then the starter motor is ok.

Check if you can hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the ignition on, if not the fuel relay could be faulty or the fuel pump.

If the above is ok then check for fault codes and see if it bring up the cam & crank sensor codes. If any of these 2 sensors have failed the engine will not fire up. Replace faulty sensor

Try using the search function on diagnostic codes, this should show you how to read and operate the engine check light function. You need to be a member to use the better search function. Its only a fiver but thats upto you? Otherwise you will have to wait for someone to reply to your thread.

I cannot imagine all your plugs being faulty for the car not to start, unless the engine has been flooded with fuel. You may as well change them if you dont know the history of the current ones.

As for the rad I just bought a new replacement off ebay for 64gbp delivered.
Works & the fitting was pretty simple. I dont have to top up my coolant level every so often know as the old one was leaking from the plastic end tanks.

Good luck

Is it definately the rad. that's causing the overheating?
Overheating, poor starting and a missfire could indicate a blown head gasket.
