Looks like a V3 with V5/V6 front end the early dash is a giveaway.It may even be earlier best way is to check the applied model code on the metal plate under the bonnet

You need the applied model code and the option code - from colour and rooflap I'd say it's a V3 WRX STi V-Limited (GC8D4ED option code 61 or 62) there should also be a number plaque.
Front end is entirely correct for the year, rear spoiler is not.

Thats what i thought first.
A V-Limited STI V3 with bigger rear spoiler.
The car is on the way to me. It comes from Japan.

STi Ra Version 3 - Limited [ colour coded handles and mirrors and skirts ] Might be V limited; but that will only tell if it has the longer 5th gear. Or maybe the applied model code will tell which it actually is.

I hope it arrives in the next 3-5 weeks.
