Looked at my 2000 x reg classics ecu and its a y7.
I want to upgrade it by putting the prodrive ecu in or is there another ecu out there that i can get?

 

Use the Ecutek mapping www.ecutek.com

 

The Prodrive ecu is rubbish.

Just get your ecu remapped(reprogrammed) by any reputable tuner/mapper.

With simple mods (decat exhaust system) 280 bhp is achievable and with a different turbo (and 1 or 2 other bits) well over 300

 

i prefer simtek because you can use it whatver you put on your car but in prodrive you cant use it in future setups or in ecutec you cant touch anything on your ecu and you have to pay extra money for the updates. also when you wanna sell prodrive or ecutec your loss is huge but in simtek you can sell it with a little loss.
