sti 8 intercooler to classic
folks need a little issue explained and resolved, if you've fitted a sti 8 intercooler to you classic can u run an aftermarket dv or do you need to keep the existing sti8 on and keep it recirculated. been reading alot of posts and getting a bit confused,

You can run whatever you like . . . Down to personal preference really. If you fit something like a bailey DV it will fit with no extra modification but if you want to retain the original DV you will need to lower the coil pack posts by about 5mm.

im running the standard one on mine as im not into after market dumpvalves at all, yep as said above just lower the coil pack a bit and theres a bit of fiddling to do with brackets and clutch reservoir etc but it can be done handy enough, SMD Motorsport did mine and its a good job, fits snug and doesnt foul the bulk head.....good over standard and supposed to be the best TMIC about, after all subaru developed it....i just need a proper undertray now. gonna go for a carl davey stainless steel with splitter one for 85 quid
