Hi Thanks, I have this ECU which I bought on ebay, and I own a WRX Wagon with TDO4 however this ECU has a Provia board in it with PV220 on the chips.
Do you think it will be O.K. to fit ?

Provia?
I know there is a company called Prova in Japan PROVA PRODUCT
If you do fit get it checked on a rolling road to see what it has done to the ecu.

Hi sorry about the spelling you are correct.
The seller on e-bay said it was off a Jap Import Wagon and gave extra boost etc but I just wanted to check.
I asked on Scoobynet if any one has any info on this ECU but could not get any answers.
I removed the Prova sticker and under it it had 1 C so I would asume it was chiped with a map for a 220bhp Wagon ?
I can not get any info on the chips that have on the top a sticker that reads PV220 on both.
I think I will just fit it ang give it a go ?

Not surprised about getting no info as companies like Prova only deal within Japan.
If you do fit it get it fitted and checked by a reputable garage with a rolling road so they can check it out for fuelling, boost levels etc.
I would expect it may be mapped for 100 ron fuel and quite aggresively (the japs seem to do this quite often)
