Advice please on reversing the inlet manifold.
The car is a 2000 P1 running a front mount and well i just fancu a challenge and im gonna have a go at reversing the inlet manifold,so is it just a case of removing the aircon,re-postioning the alternator + new belt, and choping off the throttle body flange and welding it on the other side ,basically any advice or tips from people that have actually done this are more than welcome,
thanks in advance pete.

IMHO, it's not worth the effort unless your going to be running in excess of 500 bhp.
I'm still running my inlet in standard position and once i'm in the boost threshold lag is not an issue.

Have a look at the pics on my scooby profile thingy and it'll give you ideas, but as said i'd do it for a reason, than the fun of it. The car can be off the road for some time just to do this if you haven't done it before.

You dont need to cut and switch the TB flange on the latter manifold just modify so its sits lower and rotate the manifold. Switching the TB would require enlarging the plenium.
Remove manifold strip and modify
Remove lower dowels on manifold.
Remove existing hard line fuel rails and replace with parallel feed to obtain clearance.
Remove air con if you have.
Relocate alternator.
Modify alternator bracket.
Modify ICV
Modify Power steering tank
Re route water pipe under manifold.
Relocate header tank.
Block of or re route Breathers.
Modify power steering pulley tensioner.
Modify Throttle linkage.
Make intercooler pipes for front entry.
Finish of by routing all existing vacuum pipes etc to make neat.
A fare amount of work for a small gain when comparing the amount you have reduced pipe work.

The latter referred to is Phase 2.
Phase 1.5 can be rotated, with minor mods to the manifold it's self.
Phase 1 needs to stay in the original position in order for the ICV to clear the bonnet although the TB needs to be modified to the front side.

Here's a quick breakdown and guide for what is needed for the different phase manifolds:
