ive been offered a sti v6 top mount intercooler

anyone know the size of this or if there r any performance gains compaired to my standard one for my 99 rb5. (just black one)

I could be wrong here, but was under the impression that the STi V5/6 top mount, was exactly the same as a UK Turbo 99-00/RB5 top mount - apart from being silver in colour instead of black.

Oh, and it has STi on it!

ive just bought one to go on my uk 2000 my00, and size looks exactley the same apppart from at the rear that rounded bit is a tad longer but thats it looks alot better, may of felt a bit better too maybe 0.5/1.0 psi more but my old one was a bit shabby a couple of fins were bent, mine says tuned by sti on it?

in good nic and came with sti y pipe and red 90 bend, ended auction early so paid a bit more, 100 quid but id bidded 80 and was 15 delvery but picked it up from them on my travels sunday after a cycalist came head on over my bonnet on the way so thats to sort out too, felt sorry for him glad hes ok now though

I got a newage WRX tmic for my RB5.
It is considerably bigger than the standard one and looks far better.
I also added photos and a 'how to guide' in this section a couple of weeks ago.
I got the tmic for £20 off Ebay.

bob saw ur post on rb5 oc. was there much difference in temp drop when u fitted the wrx one,

was a gd thread

well that's something I can't answer. It is clearly bigger (should give cooler temps) and looks far better without the bent fins so I am happy with it.
