Default Using Octane Boost for track days?

Anyone done this?, Is there any point?, Will it stop a bit of knock and make the car any faster?

The reason why i wont to use it is because when i have gone to donnington for track days in the pass the way i go there is only a BP and im not driving out of my way to get to the Shell 10 miles up the road so was going to use some NOS Octane Boost Racing Formula to up the Ron.

What do people have to say about the stuff?

Never used that stuff - I used NF - It is a worthwhile precaution though.

I drive to Shell, given the increased stress on the engine, not least the increased potential for Debt when its a warm day.. its not worth the risk and whilst using Booster will help, its definately no guarantee - if your car is mapped for 99 USE 99 - dont use 97 plus booster, its not the same

I sometimes carry approx 70 litres of Shell with me in the car- but this is a pain.........
