The story is i had a Greddy BOV everything was fine, i fancied a change so go my hands on a HKS SSQV ver 2, after fitting and having a test drive at idle the cars idle was all over the place, it was near enough stalling then picking up to normal rpm then droppingout again, it also stalled a couple of times, could smell the car was very rich, i thot it was a problem with the setting of the BOV so changed back to the Greddy bov, the probelm is still present, but i can also he a wine from the engine bay , could there be a problem with the Idle control valve? sounds like the noise is coming from that area. could it be this? or is there maybe a vacuum hose leak somehwere, i have had a quick check but not found any problems. any help would be good as i want to do some workk on it this weekend but dont wan to start to fiddle with it until i sort this.
