Yep had this on mine. The idle flap is probably gunked up. Remove the two screws from the top of the throttle body and unplug the plug. Remove idle control valve. Inside there is a flap that should move freely. Its probably gunked up with oil residue. Give it a good clean with wd40 and make sure the flap moves easily, The small electric motor can also be removed from (Two screws) it to aid cleaning. I had to soak mine over night in engine degreaser to get it totally clean

hi guys. I put up a similar post querying this code.
I have a bugeye 2002. The engine light keeps coming on. I took it to a local mechanic who plugged in a handheld device and told me it said error 1507 (which he said, after reading from his computer, is something to do with the filter but he didnt seem totally sure).
The car itself drives perfectly without any issues.
What is an "Idle Control System Malfunction (Fail-safe) ".
What and where exactly is the "idle flap"??? How major is this issue?

It the eletronic peice on top of the throttle body(2 screws) Unplug it remove the screws and take it off. clean with carb or brake cleaner and then lubricate with wd40.
Inside it theres a flap that should move. Its probably gunked up with carbon deposits
