any idea why is my car holding back when i put my foot down. it holds back when i reach about 4500rpm , turbo 2000 uk

how do i sort that out will i be able to do it my self or will have to take it to sum 1 who knows bout it

Mine does this... saving for new ecu and re-map at the mo which will cut out the use of the (weak) factory MAF.

Useful suggestion unless he doesn't want to spend a £1000
Your year car does have a notoriously unreliable MAF

You could try spraying carb or brake cleaner onto the sensor but ,imo, your best bet is to buy a new one.

wer about is this MAF placed in the engine is this miner problem or majer thing that i need to sort out quick time.......

I would sort it out promptly.

Black box just to the right of my induction kit with the connector attached.

I see you've got an induction kit which hasn't helped the MAF (perhaps returning back to the standard airbox if you get a new maf may be wise)

yh that could be the reason because the bottom part of the standard airbox is still on and the filter is on top and i dont tink it getin any air.....

so il take the standard airbox out 2day n see if it makes any differant...

you will still have to change the maf sensor m8 2 solve the problem they are 90 quid from the dealers they usually have them in stock
