new vortex fitted...........

hi all,had my new vortex and centre section fitted toda and does sound awesome BUT its giving off a reall bad smell of burning....is this normal till the new pipes get coated up??????thanks.Andy

New exhausts usually do pong a bit for a couple of runs, wouldn't call it burning though ?

Hi Andy I recently had a new exhaust fitted and also noted a funny smell, soon went though so I wouldn't worry just the sealants 'going off' I think
