Angry Can't reset ECU

Hi, I've been having a bit of trouble with my boost control / fuel cut off, cleaned the boost controller etc and wanted to try resetting my ECU, found the instructions / guide on scoobypedia but the green connectors only have one wire in each connector??? Don't know where they've gone, but I can't reset it..
Is there another way of resetting the ECU.

any help would be appreciated..

Select Monitor (if it's a classic not sure about newage).

I would expect most subaru dealers/specialists to have one BUT they will most probably charge you for it

Disconnect the battery for a couple of hours, that worked on mine!

Remeber to take for a long drive and after a while to hit top boost in every gear, that way the ecu will learn better!

Thanks GC8WRX will give it a go.

Hitting top boost is what i'm having the main problem with the fuel cut is coming in anywhere between 0.4 and 0.6 bar

Select Monitor plugs into the diagnostic socket and is for reading error codes and restting the ecu.

I personally don't think reseting the ecu will help in this case as hitting 0.4bar is not fuel cut for your ecu.

Have you checked the actuator arm?

Just had a similar problem on my Forester fixed by Glen at Carnetix, second one he'd fixed in a few days.
The thin blue/black rubber tubes from the intake to the boost solenoid are held together against other cables with two zip ties. It all looked OK but when the ties were removed and the tubes taken off the car then there was a very small but obvious restriction, a tiny kink, where the ties had been pulled on the tubes. Fitted two new lengths of tube and boost is restored to what it should be. Simple solution.
Worth a check before getting more involved.
And reset ecu by disconnecting the battery overnight.
Good luck

I checked the actuator, pressurised it with a large syringe.... everything looks fine, not sticking at all and fully opens.
have left the battery dissconnected all night, about to re-connect it and give it a try.

Fingers and everything else crossed..

If its still the same i'll try replacing the hoses and fit the restrictor back into the new hose,,,,
