Default slight misfire

got a slight misfire just as i hit about 4000rpm in my classic wrx??

coil pack or airflow meter.its quite common.i would start here first

changed the coil packs and plugs the plugs were quite brown and dry is it not a poor fuel and air mixture that causes this??
