Got myself my first scooby not long ago and i have noticed that the battery is not clamped down???

Obviously this is a MOT failure so need to get it sorted!

Does the battery sit in a tray of which the clamp bolts too?? Upon inspection my battery is just sitting on the frame!?!

Any help would be great!

 

There is two long bolt things that hook under the tray, then a bar goes over your battery and these bolts go through it and are tightened down with nuts.

Ah rite so there is tray! thats good! will have to get hold of that then!

Hope the battery fits as it says the battery is for a diesel car?!?

Does that matter?
