The shakes at tickover?
Car was running fine, problem only appeared after a cam belt change and a de-cat centre section was fitted.
The de-cat middle seems to have much improved the cars performance in general. It pulls stronger and boost seems to come in earlier. Hence I am very happy with the new driving experience!
The exhaust is now louder with the TSL Group N back box but it also has developed what can be described as the shakes at tick over. The whole car stakes to the extent that you start to feel a bit sick if you are stuck in traffic! Raise the revs to 1200 when stationary and the shake disappears.
Is it the exhaust pulsing and resonating? A worn engine mount? or maybe a misfire not linked to the work carried out. It does feel a bit lumpy but it is difficult to tell if the is just the flat 4 burble. A few months back the car was serviced and the spark plugs changed but there was no such problem following that work.
Anyone else suffered a similar issue?

Next check with be to make sure the cam belt isn't a tooth out somewhere. Maybe that is causing the timing to be slightly out in opening the exhaust valves?

RESOLVED - The shakes at tickover?
Pleased to say the fault is now resolved. As suggested here, the cam belt was a tooth out on one of the banks. Once it had been moved round one everything lined up and the shake on tickover was gone. Suprisingly I wonder if it went better being a tooth out, off boost anyway.. Maybe the timing was being slightly advanced on one side of the engine or something?
Thanks again for the advice. Proof that problems do get solved thanks to peoples help on here
