Exhuast for STI 2?

Exhuast for STI 2?
The original Fujitsubo system on my JDM STI Version 2 (non RA) has finally become holey and needs to be replaced. I bought a down-pipe back, two piece system from 2Fast2Cool for classic WRX and STI, but it doesn't fit. Front the hanger for the centre section (which replaces second cat) is too far forward to the mounting point on the car. Also the 'bomb' box in the same section is on the wrong place along with the bends in the pipes so if it could be mounted it would be touching the body work. The vendor has offered me my money back because apparently doesn't have system for my car. Anyone know what I need?
Can email comparison pics.
Many thanks,
John

I bought 1 of their radiators and it wouldnt fit my car without rewelding it. When i returned it he informed me they were all like that but he still sells them describing them as a direct replacement! Get your money back mate and buy 1 off here or somewere else!

Any further suggestions about which exhuasts will my car? 2Fast2Cool suggested I have "the shorter downpipe" ???
I'm ideally looking for one that removes the second cat and isn't too loud / can be fitted with or comes with a bung to keep my girlfriend happy.

Is the downpipe OE? Or at least have OE dimensions?
Some of the complete turbo back systems have annoyingly different length downpipe / centre sections compared to OE.
If the downpipe is of OE dimensions then any classic (MY93-00) cat back system will fit.

Thanks Jay. I believe it is the OE downpipe:
1) It looks old enough
2) What looks like the standard heat shield is bolted all around it
3) The Japanese Fujitsubo exhuast was fitted to it and I'm farily sure that was OE on Japanese STI 2's
It doesn't explain why the one I had didn't fit though - Could it have been for a new-age? Or really just manufactured very incorrectly?

A newage catback wouldn't fit, but funnily enough the newage backboxes will fit the classics, one of the three hangers doesn't line up but it isn't a problem.

the downpipe sounds like one you'd have for newage!! i hjad a 3" turboback from them for my old 03wrx, not a great system for things lining up but found out if i wanted to change the centre section for non-res, thats when the problems begin cos the lenths of downpipe and centre sections are completely different to most other suppilers!!!! but nice sound though!!!

Shogo 10,
When we took it off, the second cat in the centre section could be seen to be "straight through" in as much as there was a clear air hole all the way through it which honeycomb showing in the body of the box.
Either it has disintergrated over the years, but just in the shape or a round hole or has been bashed out by a previous owner.

I have been looking at the pictures on various sites for exhuasts for Imprezas and I noticed something funny in as much as on Scoobyworld, their picture for a Ninja R 3" looks pretty much like the one I've got that doesn't fit, notably the bomb-shaped resonator centre box, is closers to the meshed wire flexible part close to where the system should connect to the downpipe:
Impreza Turbo 1993-2000 Classic : Subaru Impreza Ninja R 3" Power Exhaust
... and the picture for the Scoobyworld Cat-Back package for New Age (albeit without bomb-shaped resonator box) looks a bit more like my system (see bend coming out of the backbox).
Can someone please have a look at the pictures below of my rusty old Fujitsubo compared the 2Fast2Cool's one that I've got that doesn't fit and tell me what will fit my car???
