Carrying Fuel
Is there any legal limit on the amount of fuel I can carry in my car? I usually carry 5 * 20L petrol cans full of Shell VPower when I attend track days - usually to maximise time on track, and I cant always guarantee the nearest Shell will be open / have Vpower in stock.
I carry the fuel in proper containers made for the job, and are securely tied down in the car I am driving. The fuel tank in the car is also usually topped up before I set off.
I have looked at various driving .gov.uk sites and cant find anyting on the topic.
Dont even know if I should display some sign on the car incase I do pile into an accident to let emergency services know I am potential fire ball.

Interesting
So when I took 70 litres of VPower and about 15 litres of Methanol and NF Booster recently to track I broke the law - saying that I kind of knew this anyway.............. given that most containers are plastic that people use and it says max 2*5 litres
