Default Bleeding and filling coolant

Fitting a new radiator to my sti 2 tommorow and just want to check the best way to refill with coolant without getting any air locks. Can someone give me some tips? Whats the coolant to water ratio also?

If you refill the coolant through the turbo coolant pipe you wont have any problems.
Changed my coolant and refilled like this last week and it was easy

Take the pipe that runs from the top of the expansion tank to the turbo off at the tank end and fit a funnel in the end then fill slowly until the coolant comes up into the tank.
As for coolant ratio i used concentrated coolant and mixed it as manufacturer recomendation of 50/50

When I changed my radiator last year, I refilled the system through the header tank.
I think that, provided you fill up slowly and massage the bottom and top hoses as you go, you shouldn't have any trouble. However, maybe I just got lucky - the method mentioned above may be more fool-proof!

Turbo coolant pipe is the way to go. Its easy to spot, its the one that sits on top of the header tank and runs across the inlet manifold to the turbo (on a MY95). Theres a pic of it in View my Scooby
