The prodrive backbox on my MY00 UK Turbo PPP is goosed. I am looking to replace it with another one but it is proving rather difficult. To widen my search I was wondering if there is a similar box that is as quiet as the Prodrive one, with similar looks.

Any options?

 

how about getting a new age prodrive back box and re-welding that hanger that is the wrong way around?

 

prodrive backboxes are guaranteed for life aint they? ring em up with the number off the plate

 

My racebox is not that loud, even with the centre cat removed. Bit more throaty over 4K revs though....

 

This would probably be the case if i'd bought it new, but as I only bought the PPP as seperate parts two years ago I would doubt that Subaru would honour any guarantee.

 

Fitted a Hayward & Scott twin pipe backbox to mine recently (to replace Power Engineering T75 as it was too noisey for me), it's perfect! Slightly noisier than the OEM backbox, doesn't draw attention to the car, but growls when opened up. A beautiful piece of engineering too!
