Default Reuse head gaskets ???

Hi i rebuilt my engine in my impreza and the bottom end went after 100 miles i have bought another engine but one of the head gaskets is gone, could any one tell me if it will be ok to reuse the MLS head gaskets that have only done 100 miles, just seems a shame as they still look brand new and cost me nearly £100
Thanks
Jim

whats more worrying is why your engine lunched itself after a rebuild and after only a 100 miles.

oh.. and no. new gaskets will be needed.

Hmmm. There's certain things I'd happily buy second hand for my car, but I don't think I'd get a second hand oil pump unless it was from David himself.

are you sure as other opinions seem to say not, it would be good if there wrong but i suspect not, it just loathes me to spend another £100 after the small fortune i have already spent and as i said the gaskets still look brand new

Obviously not if you are even considering reusing a head gasket.
