My engine sounds loud and a bit tappy but not knocking like bigend failure as i've heard that before. It sounds like its blowing on the exhaust somewhere, from under the bonnet it sounds like the right side of the engine near the manifold, i was wondering if it could be a blown manifold gasket making it sound so loud...? I have checked the oil level everyday and its fine.

as you say slight exhaust blow is possible from the header gasket.

it could also be a loudly ticking injector or tappets need adjusting?

 

It seems to have lost quite a lot of boost aswell it just doesn't pull like it used to , the noise does sound like its blowing from near the manifold.
