Default Z4 Mines ECU ?

what you thinking about this ecu...

its mapped for 100 octane fuel... right?

so i could only drive it with Shell Optimax100 / Aral Ultimate 100 Fuel in Germany... or than i still also need a Octane Booster?

How much HP i can expect with that?

My Spec... STI 2 Wagon, 3 Inch Downpipe Back, Apexi Air Intake, Large FMIC ... thats all Performance Upgrades at the money... soon will be also an 3Inch Catted Downpipe installed...

The 'mines' ecu runs an aggressive map. For piece of mind 99 ron minimum and start saving for another performance ecu like esl chip, apexi and so on. Before the engine goes pop. The two links below will give you an idea on prices.

When I bought my scooby, it came fitted with a 'mines' chip. I never had any problems with it, but for piece of mind I removed it and put in an esl live map

Since he's in Germany he gets 100 octane fuel anyway.

Bulldogge do you already have the ecu if so get it to rolling road and get it checked for fuelling etc.
If you don't have access to an good r/r then i wouldn't bother with it and go for a more established ecu.

what is a r/r ? Rolling Road or what you mean with it?

yes its true... here in Germany we can get 100 Octane Fuel at Shell and Aral Stations.... but sometimes its not avaible... than its good if only 98 Octane could be used too...

i dont have the ecu right now... my original ecu i had crashed... when i had tried to install a performance chip... than i bought one at ebay... what doesnt works!

So i need now quickly a new ECU, and i got some offers... i want take 2 ECUs now... i mean about the Z4 Mines ECU and a 7D or U8 one where i can install my performance chip.

I am curious to see the difference between a Mines Agressive Mapping and a Performance Chip Mapping for 95 Octane.... i think with both the hp should be around 290-300 hp...

but more important now for me is... bring the car back on road

r/r is a rolling road.
If you use the Mines ecu with 98 add some octane booster to get it to 100 just to be safe
