hi all just picked up my classic subaru wrx last night but didnt notice on the test drive that its hard to get it into 3rd gear sometimes it goes in ok others bit of a grind seems to go though the gears fine when stood still can anyone help please

 

sorry to give you bad news but your gearbox needs a overhaul.am on my
second gearbox and its on way out.both gearboxs have failed with 3rd gear.
you need the synchro replaced but when gearbox apart for repair your aswell to get it a full overhaul.

 

thats not good but i love the car so will have to be done what sort of price would i be looking at mate? thanks for the help also
