Question

My new STi is due in a couple of weeks, and I have tried doing a search so forgive me I know this has been brought up before.

I remember a post before saying the car be allowed to run a few thousand miles before running on fully synthetic oil, what should I have put in then at the 1000 mile service?
I am keen to take the motor out on track, should I give the engine/gearbox a bit of time to loosen up beforehand?

Cheers

Andy

Have put in exactly what your subaru dealer wants to put in... They know best. . well, maybe they don't know best, but you need suitable oil in your car especially when it's young.
