Debadging an MY00 front grill
#1
Hi all
Im wondering if the black section (honey comb section with badge) of the grill can be removed but still allow the grill to be fitted to the car? Or am i right in thinking the black part has the mounting bits attached to it?

As far as I know it is all one piece (moulding).
If I was going to do it I would get a S/H grill and "cut" out the honeycombe area with a soldering iron, then tidy it up using a sharp stanley knife or similar.
Then, when it all went wrong I would stamp on it and throw it in the bin
