2000 Factory Pro Drive
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help/advise me please?
A friend of mine is looking to buy the above car from a local dealer. It comes with a certificate for Prodive reguarding the extra's.
Please can someone explain what the 'extra' are and roughly bhp and mpg.
Thanks in advance.

I enquired about this a few weeks ago, the package is a Prodrive exhaust backbox and new ECU. There might be a panel filter involved too. The full package, including installation, is £1600 on a classic. Gives you an extra 30bhp or so, and about the same amount of extra torque (in ft/lbs).
Worth having if it's already on the car, I don't think there's any significant mpg change either.

I do have a PDF on my home PC which list all the of the parts you get in a PP for that year.
Got it from this site.

If its a full factory prodrive it should have every extra available, that includes the full leather interior, uprated suspension, PPP pushing the power up to around 250bhp (237bhp quoted on unleaded fuel), quick shift, so a pretty decent package, cost like 28k new or something like that.

Full PPP's didn't have leather interior, they came with electric Recaro's in black Arista fabric, if any were later retrimmed in leather is possible but I have never seen any or know of any, Leather interior was an option on the standard seats basically the dealer had to get them retrimmed by a specialist trimmer, cost was around £1200.
The quickshift option is just a modified shift mechanism, nothing to do with the actual gearbox although there are many advertised claiming to have "quickshift" box's fitted

Right, we need to clarify something here.
AFAIK the "factory" prodrive car (WR Sport) comes with all the extras (ppp fitted afterwards, ie after registration in the uk), this differs from just a PPP which is fitted afterwards by Prodrive (and later on by the dealers) its not factory fitted.
So if I can actually find one (about 40 or so on a 2000 reg i think) it will show you the full list (leather seats, alloys, suspension etc) and was like 28k new.
