Default Whats the going rate for a 2.5 with decent rods/pistons etc?

Having thought on where to go with mine now

Price for just the block only roughly

from the US around £2500 and here £2995+vat

afew to look at

i think im going 2.5 now but for my needs i'll just put forged pistons in and leave the rods

Definatly speak to Ron at Axis racing, he is knocking stage 2 2.5Ltrs out at approx £1300 - Just remember you have import tax and postage to go on that too, but theyr pretty good spec. Stump up for the stage 3 if you can afford, much more options power wise as all internals are forged.

My stage 2 is running 400BHP / 378 ft/lb torque

Andy F is advertising std short blocks for £1095 ex VAT - even if he fits new pistons that pretty much beats US deals and has easier come back if there were any unlikely problems.

Sorry for thread hi-jack but are you still on your original gearbox? If so, how long has it held together so far?
